Quantum will grind and pack your roast - in capsule according to the depth and consistency of roast we see in the beans you supply us with. In our experience that means an average capsule weight of between 5.0 and 5.8 grams - whatever is best to get the optimal flavour and strength from your coffee beans. Therefore, for every kg of beans processed we will supply you with between 170 and 200 capsules.

- packed 10-up, 20-up or 60-up in paper-look, windowed bags, labelled with your brand and "message"

Quantum capsules are NespressoTM compatible*.
Much like Henry Ford's approach to the first cars, you may choose any colour you wish for the cup so long as it is black (!).
Lids are in one plain colour - either natural aluminium ("silver") or black.
Note that at this time we do not offer custom branding of the lids or cups. Rather, we customise pack-style and labeling to your requirements.

Yes. Capsule lids are made from food-grade aluminium foil and cups are made from BPA-free polypropylene (PP). Recycling of spent capsules is achieved by separating lids from cups, placing coffee grounds in compost or garden waste bin, and placing lids and cups in recycling.

By their very nature custom solutions are different for every situation we encounter. That means we must consider your needs and provide you with a quotation before commencing a custom run for you.
However, because our systems are flexible we are able to offer highly competitive pricing considering you will be putting your own choice of coffee into a quality capsule. Indicatively we would quote as follows for the different scenarios presented:

- Scenario 1: You send us 1 kg of beans (at your cost); we pack off in bulk and ship back to you (in New Zealand, no branded packaging) - 70 cents per capsule (incl GST)
- Scenario 2: You send us 1 kg of beans (at your cost); we pack 20-up in paper-look bags with laser-printed labels on front (branding and "your message") and rear (product information) and ship back to you (in New Zealand) - 80 cents per capsule (incl GST)
- Scenario 3: We choose 1 kg of a quality local roast for you, pack off in 20-up paper-look bags with laser-printed labels on front (branding and "your message") and rear (product information) and ship to you (in New Zealand) - 95 cents per capsule (incl GST and cost of coffee)
- Scenario 4: You wish to receive 1000 capsules of fresh Kiwi-roasted coffee, packed in 50 x 20-up paper-look bags with laser-printed labels on front (branding and "your message") and rear (product information) and shipped to you (in New Zealand) - 80 cents per capsule (incl GST and cost of coffee)
